Insurance Claims Assistance
Storm or hail damage? We document it properly and work with your adjuster.

Services
An experienced contractor in your corner
Filing a roof claim is frustrating when you're doing it alone. We've walked a lot of Northern Illinois homeowners through it: we inspect for legitimate storm damage, document it the way your carrier requires, and meet the adjuster on the roof so nothing gets overlooked.
We don't inflate claims and we don't chase storms door-to-door. If the damage is real, we make sure it's fully accounted for.

Our Process
The claim process, step by step
Free damage inspection
We confirm whether there's storm or hail damage and document it thoroughly with photos.
You file the claim
You contact your insurer and open the claim — we give you the documentation and the storm date to reference.
Adjuster meeting
We meet the adjuster at your home and walk the roof together so the damage is seen firsthand.
Scope review
When the adjuster's estimate comes back, we compare it against what we documented and flag anything missing.
Approval & scheduling
Once the scope is settled, we schedule the work and order materials to match.
Completion & paperwork
We complete the job, provide a final invoice and photos, and you handle the remaining payment with your carrier.
Straight Talk
What we will and won't do
We will
- Give you an honest read on whether damage is claimable
- Document everything to your carrier's standard
- Be there for the adjuster meeting
- Do the work for the approved scope and your deductible
We won't
- Tell you to file a claim for normal wear and tear
- Offer to "cover" or waive your deductible — that's insurance fraud
- Pressure you to sign over your claim before you're ready
- Knock on your door after every storm
Questions
Insurance Claims Assistance: common questions
Should I file a claim for an old, worn-out roof?
No. Insurance covers sudden storm damage, not age. If your roof is simply at the end of its life, we'll quote a replacement directly — often more affordable than people expect.
Can you waive my deductible?
No, and you should be wary of any contractor who offers to. It's illegal in Illinois. Your deductible is your share of the cost.
What if my claim gets denied?
Sometimes the first inspection misses damage. We can document our findings and you can request a re-inspection. We can't guarantee an outcome, but thorough documentation helps.
How long do I have to file after a storm?
Policies vary, but most require prompt filing — often within a year. Don't wait. Get the inspection done and the storm date on record.
